Bonnie and Vicki Baby Shower

Deeann and Benita threw Bonnie and Vicki a joint baby shower today.  It was very impressive with personalized piggy-banks for the kids, duck key-chain favors, creative onesie decorations, and the baby shower games that you would expect.  Alas, this is likely the last baby shower for this family for a while…

Maternity Pictures

I just started doing some maternity pictures for friends and I don’t really know what I’m doing. Unfortunately, it’s even harder when you have to set up the camera on a tripod and timer. Nevertheless, I tried doing some with Bonnie the other day and here are a few that she let me put up.

Happy Thanksgiving!

After helping with Yangsgiving 3, Bonnie and I had Thanksgiving dinner with her family.  As usual, this function turned into an Abigail portrait session.  However, one thing that struck me is that this time next year, we’ll have two more babies under the age of one to take pictures of.  Crazy!

I forgot to take pictures, but Bonnie and I made a sweet potato pie which (if I may say) was better than the Safeway one.  We also made this wild rice/barley/brown rice stuffing kind of thing which people seemed to like.

Trailer now official

I got the trailer registered last week so it’s legal now.  For those who don’t know, I bought a trailer from harbor freight primarily for the kart.  It’s amazing what you can get from China for $230.  True, it’s not the highest quality piece of equipment I’ve ever seen, but it will suit our purposes just fine.

Bonnie’s dad’s 60th Birthday

We threw a surprise party for Bonnie’s dad today.  The big six-oh.  He thought we were going to Outback for steak… never suspected a thing.  Here’s a link to all the pictures.  With all the babies around, pretty much every family event turns into a baby photo session.  It’s just going to get worse so you might as well get used to it!
