Time really does go by faster when you have a baby.  Alissa is almost 9.5 lbs already.  The weekends, which were already short, now feel like mere hours before the work week starts anew.

Jay and Kat stopped by last night to visit.  It’s funny… almost all of my friends are married by now, Jay and Kat included.  But now it seems we’re in the midst of the next life phase where everyone is having kids.  It won’t be long before I don’t have any single or non-child-rearing friends.

Speaking of child-rearing, I started a 529 college savings plan as well as a bank account for Alissa this week.  Hopefully, in 18 years, there’s enough to send her to Berkeley at least.  Oh well, there goes the sports car fund!
