Tommy and Phyllis get married

Tommy and Phyllis tied the knot yesterday at Thomas Fogarty winery up in the hills of Woodside. It was a pretty perfect wedding as you might expect out of this particular couple. Weather was great, food was fantastic (especially the appetizers), speaches were funny, slide show was hilarious, ceremony was personal, and of course, Vanilla Ice was in the Howzzzz!

Tommy channeling the Ice-Man himself:

Also, we got a rare glimpse into the soft insides that all of us men possess but rarely show:

And finally, the cake looked and tasted fantastic!

All in all, one of the best planned and executed weddings I’ve been to as either a guest or a photographer.

[Speaking of which (sorry for the boring tangent) the photographer, Bruce, had two Canon 5D's, one with a 28mm and one with a 85mm. That's it. I asked him if he ever missed the flexibility of zooms, but he started out with Hasselblads prior to going digital so he's used to using prime lenses. Also, the speed advantage of primes was a big plus to him. Interesting... I've considered going to the prime-only route myself but haven't had the guts to actually try it yet. There's also the likelihood that I'm not nearly as talented than he which could mean poor results for my paying clients. Maybe I'll do some experimenting at home.]

Anyway, here are some more pictures plus the link to the entire album.
