I definitely would have been fine on the smaller one though. I would probably do that if I was to do it again. Would have made the reach to the bullhorns more comfy. The 52 was ok for me. I'm 5'8 with also 30in inseam barefoot. And I'm not too sure about the size. If your inseam is 30 then a 52cm bike stated on their site is a 30.1 inches, that means you don't have any stand over clearance. Similar quality of parts, similar quality of frame. The differences were more in the fact that the Dawes came with bullhorn bars and a more grippy saddle whereas the Moto had drop bars and a more traditional saddle. For the time I had it, though, it was just fine. And I would expect it to hold up to normal wear and tear just fine.
