San Francisco Zoo – Taking advantage of another free day
By jason, July 6, 2011 on 7:19 pm | In alissa, amanda, ashley, family, san francisco | No CommentsWe took advantage of the free first Wednesday of the month feature at the SF Zoo again today. As is often the case in the Sunset in the summer, it was overcast and a bit chilly. Nothing a bit of bundling up couldn’t take care of.
Ashley thinking something critical about the penguins:

This hippo was huge and kept showing off how big it could open it’s mouth. I wasn’t in position to capture it unfortunately.

Surprisingly, the kids were not scared to pet the animals in the Children’s Zoo:

Unwilling snow angel
By jason, March 29, 2011 on 12:09 am | In ashley | No CommentsThis is a video that I just noticed from our trip to the snow a couple months ago. Ashley was not exactly excited about the experience as you’ll hear.
Hello again
By jason, March 13, 2011 on 2:29 pm | In alissa, amanda, ashley, family, projects | No CommentsWow, has it been nearly two months since the last post?! Oops… been crazy busy recently.
Ok, let’s get caught up.
Lots of park days! These are from the Westlake Park in Daly City where I USED to play tennis all the time.

After the farmers market, a walk in the mall:

Cheeky monkey: (on a side note, Amanda is likely going to grow up with the nick name Chi-chi. It started out with us calling her Mon-chi-chi after the cartoon character of the early 80′s but it seems to have stuck. Alissa and Ashley also call her Chi-chi more often than not.)

Chunky monkey: (another side note… Ashley is still a good eater.)

One of Bonnie’s dinner ideas:

Going or a walk… and digging for gold:

A few photos from the vacation
By jason, January 5, 2011 on 12:55 am | In alissa, amanda, ashley, san francisco | No CommentsWe didn’t do much over the holidays but we did manage to hit up the Randall Museum and help Alissa assemble her first gingerbread man. Here are a few pictures.

More kids, more Barney
By jason, November 26, 2010 on 1:16 pm | In alissa, amanda, ashley, video | No CommentsA couple years ago, you may remember a video of Alissa dancing along with a Barney song. Well, the twins are about that age now and just started doing the same thing with the benefit of having Alissa as the ring leader. Both videos below:

Babies no more?
By jason, November 26, 2010 on 11:57 am | In alissa, amanda, ashley, commentary | No CommentsI’m definitely less prolific in my photography and blogging these days as the pace of life seemingly continues to accelerate. At least it still happens occasionally whereas my other personal pursuits have essentially gone completely AWOL. Good thing too, as the kids continue to grow and develop despite the goings on of their parents and so capturing a few photos here and there will be the only way to remember the “good ole days.” To that point, as referenced in this post’s title, here are a couple random pictures of the kids from yesterday where, for the first time, Amanda and Ashley didn’t look quite like babies to me, although emotionally, they still are my babies. And Alissa didn’t look quite like a toddler to me, although emotionally, she still is. I guess my emotional perception will continue to lag reality at least for another decade or two. Not sure if that’s how it works or not. In any case, here are the pictures.
Pictures at the Legion of Honor
By jason, November 25, 2010 on 3:37 pm | In alissa, amanda, ashley, friends, photography, san francisco | No CommentsIt’s become an annual tradition now where we and the Wee’s exchange family picture taking duties for each other. This year, we used the legion of honor as our backdrop. The Wee kids were very well behaved and did a great job looking at the camera. The Wang kids… not so much. But we did get some here and there that were fun. Here’s a sampling.
